Quantity Surveyor on the
Sizewell C project and you’ll deliver complex work that really matters to our business, and the world around you.
What you'll be doing
You will be supporting other members of the commercial team in delivering the varied commercial duties as well as being responsible for procuring and managing our supply chain. You will actively seek to minimise the costs of a project and enhance value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality for our customers.
The role would further entail management of subcontract packages from order execution, through the monthly valuations of the works completed on site and day to day management of Compensation Events both within the Supply Chain and with the Client. In addition, you will provide detailed end of life cost and cash flow forecasts each month for input into the overall project forecast and reporting.
In addition, you will be involved in activities such as the identification and raising of Early Warnings, processing of subcontract payments and liaison with the client’s commercial team in relation to valuations, Early Warnings and Compensation Events would also be a requirement of the role.
Who we're looking for
The Successful Candidate Will
- Have a BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying (or experience equivalent);
- Be an effective communicator and proficient team player;
- Be focussed on achieving results;
- Have rail industry knowledge (desirable).
