We are now recruiting for the exciting role of Reactor Internals Product Substantiation Lead.

The Reactor Internals Product Substantiation Lead will work within the Nuclear Equipment team to operate as the lead for the various product substantiation activities across the role scope responsible for driving the required maturity of these activities to enable the wider product delivery activities, while also leading the development of the required internal capability within the Nuclear Equipment team.

The Lead will be responsible for developing the strategic direction required for the various aspects in scope of the role, ensuring alignment with the broader product delivery programmes within the Nuclear Equipment team. This will require working with key cross-functional stakeholders to ensure aligned of critical supporting activities (e.g. test programmes).

The role will be responsible for defining the direction for developing the internal capabilities of the Nuclear Equipment team, relating to the various component analyses and verification activities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for not just the development and delivery of the role scope, but also the management of cost and programme which will grow as the project and business grows.

Pay And Benefits

We anticipate paying a salary of between £57,600 - £75,600 DOE plus:-

  • Bonus - Performance related target opportunity 12.5%
  • Benefits Allowance – £2,200 per annum, enabling you to create a bespoke package
  • Pension - 12% employer and 6% employee contributions.
  • Holidays - 28 days holiday (+ public holidays) and the ability to buy or sell up to 4 days.
  • Private Medical Insurance - BUPA single cover health care
  • Life Assurance - 6x pensionable pay
  • £250 - One-off payment for new starters for home office purchases
