The opportunity:
As part of our continuing expansion of the UK Operational service offering, we have an exciting opportunity for an energised individual to take up the new role of Recoveries Lead. Reporting to a Head of Practice, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring we have a robust operational model for identifying/pursuing/tracking recoveries, building a new subrogation proposition with application across all Practices and driving its success through business development with existing/new customers and clients. The role will also have responsibility for recording and monitoring salvage activities and the pursual of contributions where dual insurance has been identified.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with Heads of Practice to devise and lead the execution of the UK strategy for subrogation handling.
- Develop and promote the new subrogation proposition, ensuring a robust operational response is delivered
- Support any internal/ external training to ensure recoveries are correctly identified and pursual is correctly undertaken
- Work with the CS and BD team to profile the new proposition and track new revenue achieved through the new model
- Personally support the pursual of recoveries that we are tasked with managing
- Take ownership of other “money in” opportunities for customers/ clients, eg salvage
- Market and Industry Insight - Stay abreast of industry trends and developments to ensure the company’s approach remains competitive and relevant.
About you - Knowledge and Experience:
- Sound knowledge and experience in all technical aspects of subrogation/ recoveries
- Demonstrable experience in project management/ proposition development/ client engagement
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
- Experience of directly or indirectly managing high performing teams, with senior personnel would be advantageous
- A proven track record of building strong working relationships, externally and internally
- Enthusiasm and ambition to grow the role and the proposition, to continue achieving positive outcomes and an aptitude to deliver to targets
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently to self-manage work and times
- ACILA and/or Legally Qualified or relevant qualifications/applicable experience
- A willingness to travel nationally where required, flexibility is a must
