We are at an exciting point of growth and are now looking for an experienced Recruitment Business Partner, taking responsibility for recruitment on the Anthro joint venture between Egis and VVB Engineering

The Anthro joint venture will provide comprehensive turn-key services for London’s state-of-the-art HS2 gateway station at Old Oak Common. We have been awarded a multi-year contract to deliver MEPHFC (Mechanical, Electrical Public Health, Fire and Communications) systems works.

Job Description

As an experienced Recruitment Business Partner, you’ll bring your knowledge, expertise, and confidence to challenge current thinking. You understand how a collaborative, innovative and empowering approach can influence change and engage others.

Reporting to the Lead Recruitment Business Partner for Transportation, you shall take full responsibility for the recruitment on the Anthro join venture. You shall facilitate the end to end recruitment process, providing a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.

We offer a Hybrid work model. The role shall require you to work from the Ols Oak Common office three to four days a week, with occasional travel to our London Waterloo Head office. The Old Oak Common office is based at Old Oak Common Depot, Old Oak Common Lane, London, NW10 6DZ.

This role will be on an initial 12 month fixed term contract, with the potential of moving in to a permeant position.

Job Description

  • Take responsibility for sourcing and shortlisting candidates for a number of different roles for both Egis and VVB on the Anthro project at Old Oak Common.
  • Draw up engaging recruitment adverts, posting these on to a number of relevant platforms.
  • Run targeted recruitment campaigns and initiatives, with a direct hire first mentality
  • Use LinkedIn Recruiter to headhunt and approach candidates directly.
  • Support hiring managers in the creation of effective and accurate job descriptions.
  • Establish and maintain talent pools and create pipelines of engaged candidates.
  • Maintain a recruitment tracker, detailing all vacancies and what stage we are at in the hiring process.
  • Manage the offer process, negotiating with candidates and liaising with the HR Teams to ensure contracts of employment are issued in a timely manner.


Qualifications

Skills and Experience:

  • Experienced recruiter, ideally with experience working inhouse within a similar field.
  • A LinkedIn Recruiter expert, with the confidence to directly approach individuals. Able to sell the opportunity, instilling confidence and building rapport with candidates.
  • Collaborative team player who takes initiative and ownership to work independently, seeing projects through to completion
  • The ability to write strong job descriptions and adverts that entice individuals to want to join us.
  • Ability to manage expectations, pushing back and challenging where needed
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build strong working relationships with candidates, recruiting colleagues and employees at all levels
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work calmly under pressure
  • Sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Committed to representing the Group in a professional way in multiple forums, in person, on the phone or via email
  • Ability to handle confidential information discreetly; ability to tactfully and sensitively deal with different queries and situations
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills would be highly advantageous but is not essential.
