The post will provide the opportunity to undertake a full 3 year PhD as part of this role. The core element of this role is to support ICAN2 clinical trial work within St Mark’s Hospital in collaboration with Institute of Cancer Research, led by Professor Trevor Graham. This research project is jointly led by Professor Ailsa Hart, Professor Trevor Graham and Dr James Alexander, who will be named supervisors for the project too. Post holder will be involved in all research work related to ICAN2 project, majority of which could be lab-based.

You may be asked to participate in additional clinical activities such as:
- Weekly IBD clinics and/or Transition clinics, Gastro wards cover, IBD day unit cover under the supervision of Professor Ailsa Hart
- Post-holder might also be asked to assist their supervisor in weekly endoscopy list
