We are looking for a Returns Team Leader to co-supervise a team, engaged primarily in sorting and checking of stock that has been returned to us. Ensuring the daily targets are achieved. Also making sure that the areas are manned and operable as and when required by the business, and to maintain and update all reporting procedures using various business applications.

Responsibilities

  • Provide First line coaching and training to Senior Operatives to ensure a high level of productivity and performance,
  • Ensure the Ecommerce orders are scanned and returned to stock in a timely manner in line with garment classifications and deadlines, providing more staff as and when needed in the area.
  • To accurately and efficiently assess, record and store Returns stock ready for re-sort and re-sale.
  • Verifying labels/contents of cartons arriving at UWS and adjusting inventory records via the Mandate System to maintain accuracy.
  • Consolidation of garments from “overthrow/jackpot” and updating inventory records.
  • To assist in the operation of classifications on quality screened garments and adjust physically.
  • To work as a team regarding locations counting to ensure the annual target and deadline is met for Global Audit purposes.
  • Ensure the accurate and safe use of the in-house systems by the team to ensure efficient working practices.
  • To liaise with Recruitment Reps regarding weekly head count, staffing and any other issues that may arise.
  • To ensure Returns maintain adequate stock levels of all Sundries so continuous production can be maintained.
  • Be a people manager to your Direct Reports

Required Skills And Competencies To Consider Before Applying

  • Ideally a Senior Operative with Previous experience of working in Returns;
  • A high level of customer orientation;
  • Proven team leadership skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Ability to collaborate and build internal and external partnerships;
  • Flexibility;
  • Initiative;
  • Good communication skills;
  • PC skills – Good understanding and knowledge of computer databases;
  • Knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety procedures.
