The Revenue Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of accurate and timely financial information to meet the needs of both internal and external reporting requirements. The role will partner with Accounting & Finance teams (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Inventory, and Financial Reporting) as well as key commercial stakeholders and third-party providers.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver monthly accounting responsibilities to agreed timelines
- Review Sarbanes-Oxley compliance for internal and external process controls
- Partner with technical accounting team to review new/changes in gross to net revenue adjustments and determination of their accounting treatment
- Assist with internal and external audit queries
- Prepare detailed reporting as required to support Senior Management and the commercial organization
- Provide strategic input into recommendations for change and improvement
- Develop, manage, implement and evolve policy, driven by business needs, hands on observations and analytical assessment
- Ensure transparency in the delivery of information to international, regional and corporate stakeholders inside and outside of finance / accounting
- Participate in the development of new systems, processes and automation
- Participation in other ad-hoc accounting projects as required
- Build a partnership of trust and open communication between International Accounting team, European management and US corporate stakeholders
- Train and coach junior members of the team
Knowledge and Skills:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Proven progressive Accounting experience
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate professional, clear and effective communication across all levels, cross site and with key external stakeholders
- Professional attitude with a proactive and flexible approach
- Adaptable to change and ability to work well under pressure, whilst maintaining attention to detail
- Established record in managing multiple and competing priorities
- Experience of US GAAP and local GAAP accounting
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting or Finance
