The opportunity:
The Reward & Benefits Advisor will support the Head of Reward to implement and deliver the reward strategy for the CVS group across the UK & Australia. The role will lead the administration of benefits & fleet, owning the associated processes and acting as the main point of contact for internal and external queries. The role will also support the Head of Reward on business communications, annual pay and bonus review cycles, and salary survey submissions.
The reward team will be the centre of expertise providing advice and guidance to colleagues across the HR team and the wider business on all aspects of compensation and benefits.
This is a fully remote-working position, with quarterly travel to team meetings at our Head Office based in Diss.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Manage the reward and fleet inboxes, responding to queries professionally and efficiently.
- Act as the main contact for benefits providers to ensure any complaints or queries are resolved.
- Responsible for monthly & annual reporting to providers, payroll and finance teams, undertaking monthly reporting and regular audits to ensure information is aligned between our benefits providers and payroll system and invoices are correct.
- Manage eligibility & member data for CVS benefits including healthcare, risk policies, salary sacrifices, health cash plan, voluntary schemes, flu vaccinations and Sharesave.
- Work with our fleet management provider to manage the CVS motor fleet and associated processes and data.
- Support the Head of Reward on communication of benefits including managing the content on Pulse and Halo, new starter packs, benefits brochures and annual programmes such as buy and sell of holiday, Sharesave scheme, healthcare renewals etc.
- Review benefit and fleet activity in line with HMRC legislation to ensure compliance. Support the CVS payroll team with benefit in kind reporting and P11D submissions.
- Support the Head of Reward to deliver the annual pay and bonus review for UK and Australia.
- Lead on the submissions for salary surveys.
- Provide support to a range of HR projects including involvement with new HR system and recording of benefits and employee data.
- Regularly review existing ways of working to ensure benefit & fleet processes are efficient. Identify and implement process improvements throughout the benefit cycles and ensure the exchange of information across internal teams and external providers is timely and accurate
Key Skills Required:
- Reward experience including benefits administration.
- Knowledge of company benefits and understanding of HMRC compliance.
- Attention to detail is key to this role with the ability to prioritise high volumes of work, maintain quality and accuracy.
- Advanced excel skills and ability to manipulate large data sets
- The Reward & Benefits Advisor will work closely with internal teams, particularly payroll and HR, as well as with externally with benefits providers and survey providers so will need to have a strong ability to manage relationships and expectations.
- Experience of using HR systems for processing and reporting
- Ability to provide clear and accurate information to engage employees and managers with the benefits programmes.
- Takes initiative and is able to work independently.
