Risk & Compliance Officer

Lawyers on Demand are looking to bring on a Risk & Compliance Officer initially for a 6-month period. This position will be working for an international law firm who have a strong reputation for their work across the technology and property sectors.

The ideal applicant will have a solid understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks relevant to the legal sector. They will have the ability to interpret complex information are also essential for advising staff and ensuring firm-wide compliance.

As the Risk & Compliance Office, you would be responsible for:

• Adhering to legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements, ensuring the firm manages its exposure to financial, legal, and reputational risks.
• Reviewing client due diligence, and managing conflict checks.
• Updating risk registers.
• Advising staff on compliance protocols.

Our assignments are predominantly full time, working on a hybrid model within the London area and surrounding suburbs.
