Job Opportunity: Shift Fitter
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and ambitious individual to join our Bootle garage as a Shift Fitter. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will maintain our fleet of PCV vehicles.
Salary: £19 - £25 per hour (depending on experience)

Responsibilities
- Service and repair vehicles to Arriva and DVSA standards
- Improve vehicle standards continuously
- Prepare vehicles for MOT
- Diagnose faults and ensure maintenance meets Arriva’s high standards
- Work shifts
- Recognised qualifications in PSV/HGV maintenance (e.g., Level 3 NVQ)
- Ability to work safely and independently
- Electrical knowledge is a plus
- PCV licence is a plus
- Experience with vehicle inspections (training provided); IRTEC accreditation is advantageous
