Safety and Compliance Surveyor

Willis Aviation Services Limited are hiring.

We are looking for a Safety and Compliance Surveyor to support our Part-145 Maintenance Organisation at Teesside International Airport.

We offer expansive aircraft maintenance, storage, and disassembly with line and base maintenance, return to service, and ground and cargo handling services.

The Safety and Compliance Surveyor will be responsible for operational safety and the monitoring of compliance within the aircraft maintenance area. This includes audit and findings reporting, investigations and assessments, personnel authorisations and stakeholder auditing.

Reporting to the Safety and Compliance Manager, this role will also oversee other areas such as Disassembly and Ground Handling.

Requirements:

· Appropriate professional background: Valid or previously held UK Aircraft Maintenance Licence (AML) or UK CAA Part-66 AML; or

· Aeronautical Engineering Degree obtained from a reputable university; or

· Experience in an aircraft maintenance or continuing airworthiness control environment.

· Auditing Skills & Techniques training and experience of auditing

· UK CAA Part-145 Regulations training

· Knowledge of Maintenance Organisation Expositions, their development and amendments

· Technical knowledge representative of the products/types maintained by WASL (e.g., AML Type Ratings, General Familiarisation courses and/or related experience).

· English Language proficiency (Written & Spoken).
