Binnies, part of the RSK Group, are looking for experienced and competent Safety & Risk Consultant to work within the Southwest of England. Becoming an essential member of our Safety & Risk Team, you will have the opportunity to assist a valued and longstanding client to deliver exciting and diverse flood and coastal projects. You will work as the technical lead for the region and resource a team who discharge the duties of principal designer and CDM advisor on a varied portfolio of schemes. About The Role
- You will manage a team of Safety & Risk Consultants who work across the Southwest region
- You will work closely with internal stakeholders within the client organisation, their Project Managers and also work closely with their Health, Safety & Wellbeing Team and external deliver partners
- Projects will range from feasibility studies, through outline & detailed design and construction on site
- It will be important to ensure designs consider buildability, sustainability, environmental and health & safety requirements
Essential Requirements:
- Chartered Safety Professional
- Relevant degree or diploma
- Sound working knowledge of the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
Desirable Requirements
- Excellent report writing skills
- A proactive approach with an ambition to innovate
- The ability to work away from the office location for short periods
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and excellent record keeping
