SALARY: £22,250, 27 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, loan car scheme, pension and a discretionary bonus
CONTRACT: June 2025 - June 2026

Before applying if you live more than 60 minutes away from post code MK15 8HG, you will need to relocate to either Milton Keynes or be a commutable distance (within 60 minutes).

Do you have excellent communication skills and the ability to think creatively under pressure to solve complex problems? We are looking for a Sales Account Management Undergraduate to join our Fleet team. This placement year is sure to give you a broad and in-depth understanding as to how our business is run and provide you with the opportunity to start building a network. You will have the opportunity to liaise and build relationships with our suppliers, customers and manufacturers.

What your time at Volkswagen Financial Services might look like:
* Assist with preparation of sales proposals and processing of orders.
* Liaise with Retailers and Brand colleagues to agree/negotiate discounts or group supported campaigns for customers.
* Attend customer visits where required; support internal customer visits and Tender presentations.
* Direct communication with customers to provide pro-active sales support.
* Liaise and build relationships with suppliers, customers and manufacturers.
* Working alongside our Field Sales Team, supporting with tenders and vehicle quotations, carry out credit renewal application.

About you:
* Currently studying a degree in Business, or a related field.
* Excellent organisation skills with the ability to deal with a variety of tasks and meet tight deadlines.
* High attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
* Possess strong communication skills both verbally and written.
* Use own initiative to answer questions and solve queries.
* Take a proactive and flexible approach with the ability to react appropriately and effectively to changing circumstances and demands.
* PC literacy - Microsoft office skills.

Here's what our process looks like:
* Apply and upload your CV, covering letter and answer a few application questions.
* You'll then be invited to complete a Situational Judgement Test. This is a short multiple-choice question set to understand how you may approach situations.
* If you pass this stage, you will be invited to complete an online video interview where you will have the opportunity to tell us more about yourself.
* If successful, your final step in the journey is to attend an assessment centre at our Milton Keynes office where you will take part in a group exercise, complete a short interview and deliver a presentation. You'll also meet some of our managers and our current Undergraduates to find out more about a placement year with us.
