Our office in Milton Keynes is looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our growing sales team, reporting into the Head of Partnership and Sales. As an SDR you will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads, engaging prospects and setting up meetings for our sales team. You will play a crucial role in expanding our customer base and contributing to the overall revenue growth of Facit.
Key responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Identity and research potential customers through various channels including LinkedIn, email outreach, cold-calling and industry events.
- Outbound Prospecting: Engage with prospects via cold calls, emails and social media to introduce our products
- Qualification: Assess potential customers’ needs and determine their level of interest
- Scheduling Meetings: Set up appointments for the sakes team and ensure smooth handovers
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions in the CRM system
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and sales team to refine lead generation activities
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, news and best sales practices for customer engagement
- Achieving prospecting KPIs: Consistently meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) related to outreach volume, lead conversation and engagement metrics
Key skills and qualifications
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage prospect effectively
- Sales Acumen: A basic understanding of the sales principles and the ability to build rapport with potential clients
- Resilience and Perseverance: Ability to handle objections, stay motivated and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
- Organisation & Time Management: Strong ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple outreach efforts efficiently.
- Tech Savy: Familiarity with CRM tools, sales automation software and basic data entry
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to assess prospect needs and align them with our product offerings
- Teamwork: Willingness to collaborate with marketing and sales team to optimise lead generation activities
- Self-Motivation: A proactive and results-oriented mindset with the drive to meet and exceed KPIs
