You'll be at the forefront of our go-to-market efforts, researching leads, initiating conversations, qualifying opportunities, and supporting our Account Executives in turning potential into partnerships. Requirements
Main Function
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for driving growth by identifying and nurturing new business opportunities, particularly with enterprise prospects. Through strategic outreach and relationship building, the SDR generates leads, qualifies prospects, and supports Account Executives in achieving sales targets. This role requires a strong understanding of the industry and our product's unique value proposition, and it collaborates closely with Sales Leadership and Marketing to develop a robust sales pipeline.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Generate new business opportunities with enterprise prospects, working closely with Sales Leadership and Marketing
- Develop and maintain an accurate, up-to-date sales pipeline by tracking interactions and lead statuses in the CRM
- Identify potential clients through research, networking, and outbound activities
- Qualify leads by assessing client needs, industry challenges, and alignment with our technology
- Act as a knowledge resource for internal teams by sharing insights gained from client conversations and market research
- Build and nurture relationships with prospective clients, providing a positive first impression and ensuring a seamless handover to the sales team
Skills And Competencies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with senior leaders
- Additional European language is a plus
- High-level research skills for identifying, qualifying, and prioritizing leads
- Proficient in CRM software (preferably Salesforce) and familiar with multi-channel sales and marketing tools
- Self-motivated, proactive, and highly organized, with strong time-management abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and adaptable to learn new software or tools
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting
- Goal-oriented and driven to achieve results
- Professional, personable, and able to make a strong first impression with enterprise clients
- Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Resilient and solution-focused, comfortable managing multiple priorities
- Team-oriented with a collaborative approach and a "can-do" attitude
Experience And Knowledge
- 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a customer-facing role, ideally within the SaaS or technology sector
- Familiarity with engaging senior leaders at enterprise companies in strategic conversations
- Strong understanding of CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) for tracking and managing leads
- Knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms for lead generation
- Basic knowledge or willingness to learn about SEO, industry trends, and relevant technologies
- Experience collaborating with marketing and sales teams to create targeted campaigns and deliver value propositions
