The Opportunity
In your role as Sales Executive within the Fintech/Growth team you will help us achieve our goals and deliver success on behalf of our customers by:
- Developing and managing a robust sales pipeline
- Developing and utilising your industry knowledge to add value to the customer at every interaction and lay the foundations for a long-term partnership
Ideally you will have industry experience within financial sales into B2B. You will be ambitious, detail oriented and confident growing your network.
This is a hybrid role based in our London office, so you will be comfortable coming into the office at least 2 – 3 times per week. You will be expected to travel regularly within your region to help progress and close opportunities. If you’re interested in the role but require more flexibility, please speak to us!
Day to Day
- Meet or exceed yearly bookings target
- Qualify leads and opportunities for your target accounts
- Manage sales pipeline and progress opportunities through it, demonstrating the appropriate amount of activity to exceed required metrics
- Forecasting
- Run exceptional sales presentations – they must be better than any other vendor in any competitive process
- Ensure all communication to the customer is of a high quality, including all documents and presentations
- Create and maintain close plans
- Build strong relationships with customers at CxO level and be seen as a trusted advisor on fraud and risk solutions
- Attend a minimum of 3 industry events per quarter and generate leads for the team
- Oversee and coordinate contract and pricing negotiations ensuring that all elements of the commercials work as well as possible for both the customer and Featurespace
- Accurately reflect in Salesforce.com the status of accounts, opportunities, leads and meetings.
- Ensure the accuracy of your customer’s contact data in Salesforce.com
About you
Must haves:
- High achiever with excellent track record of delivering new business
- Demonstrable stakeholder management, project management and organisational skills
- Experienced negotiator
- Evidence of formalised sales training or adherence to a particular methodology
- Awareness of, and willingness to use MEDPICC
- Compelling and engaging presenter
- Advanced knowledge of the fraud and risk market
- Proven experience of selling successfully to smaller clients and FinTech’s within the Payments and/ or Banking sectors
- Ability to engage with different roles in the internal business such as accounts, finance, pre-sales, project management, marketing and SME’s
- Expert relationship building skills at an executive level and the ability to show value to customers
Great to haves:
- Working knowledge of Salesforce.com
