About the Role

As the Banking Assistant, you will be required to work to month end deadlines. Including but not limited to including completing daily, weekly, monthly tasks to ensure that bank reconciliations, cash postings, cashflow reporting are completed accurately. Working closely with the Off- Shore Teams to ensure deadlines are meet including Month End Close procedures. The role entails strong collaboration with the Accounting Teams and other key stakeholder departments.

Skills & Experience

  • 1 year experience in a Finance environment
  • Banking portal experience would be an advantage
  • Experience of Financial postings and ERP experience (Protas or other)
  • Good excel skills and knowledge of other Microsoft Applications
  • Strong communication skills – able to work with both external and internal customers.
  • Problem solving / issue resolution skills Maths and English to GCSE (A-C)
  • Tenacity to resolve queries and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work as part of a team and collaboratively
