Sales Manager

Remote role with occasional travel to customers and facilities in Berkshire.

*Aerospace/defence sector sales experience is required

A leading service bureau with a well-established reputation and client base is seeking a results-oriented Sales Manager to secure new clients across the UK.

Work Environment:

• Home-based with occasional travel to the office (once a week) and client meetings across the country.

Role Summary:

The Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities with a focus on the aerospace, automotive, oil & gas, and medical sectors. You will create and execute sales strategies, build relationships with key decision-makers, and drive successful customer acquisition and new revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to target new customers and expand into new industry sectors.
• Proactively build relationships with prospective clients through effective communication and networking.
• Develop and qualify opportunities in target markets with support from the Head of Sales & Marketing.
• Manage customer data effectively using CRM systems and provide accurate sales forecasting data.
• Understand customer requirements and develop tailored key account development plans with SMART objectives.

Requirements

• Essential Sales Expertise: Proven experience in business development, preferably within the contract/service/on demand manufacturing sector, is crucial. Plastic/Additive Manufacturing services is a plus
• Customer portfolio: experience dealing with customer in the manufacturing sector (Aerospace, Automotive, Healthcare, Energy, Oil and Gas)
• Exceptional Customer Engagement: Professional and capable customer interaction/engagement skills are paramount to building rapport, fostering trust, and securing new business opportunities.
