SAP Developer

We have an exciting opportunity for a SAP Developer to join our London or Harrogate office. Please note this role is based in the office 4 days per week with 1 day per week working from home.

About the role

The successful candidate will be both highly technically proficient and motivated in the creation and delivery of SAP solutions.

The SAP Developer works with our Solutions Architects to develop and configure the SAP software in line with best practice solutions.

Our mantra is to stick as close to standard as possible and any development to be class based and reusable rather than point in time solutions.

• Developing and configurating SAP and non-SAP software
• Taking customer requirements, creating technical design specification from concept through to realisation
• Competition of sprint tasks on time and schedule
• Assisting business analysts with complex support queries

Statutory Requirements

• SAP NetWeaver based e.g. SAP ERP/CRM development skills
• SAP Configuration skills (in any modules e.g. FI/CO,MM,SD etc
• Working with Agile development approaches

Key Measures of Performance

• Cycle time for bugs, new requests and support
• Velocity and throughput – how much is delivered and unblocked

Experience & Knowledge

• ABAP coding Eclipse
• Understanding of XML/JSON etc
• SAP Database structure
• API and restful web services

• XI/PI/PO Integration
• SAP cloud platform
• Gateway integration
• CRM and BSP, WebDynpro, BoL
• IDOC Development
• Fiori / UI5
• Workflow
• HANA and or S/4 HANA
