SAP S/4HANA Data Senior Manager – Digital Core - Mars Global Services

Purpose of the Role

Mars is undergoing a major digital transformation, implementing SAP S/4HANA across all global segments—Petcare, Snacking, Food, and Corporate. This goes far beyond system upgrades—it's about reimagining and simplifying our core business processes.

We’re hiring a Senior Manager to lead the end-to-end data strategy and execution for this transformation. This includes overseeing data migration, SAP Master Data Governance (MDG), and analytics integration across a complex SAP landscape. It’s a high-impact role that blends technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong stakeholder collaboration.

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Live the Mars Five Principles and foster an inclusive, high-performing team culture.
• Lead data architecture and design across SAP S/4HANA, MDG, Syniti, and related platforms.
• Collaborate with global teams to align business needs with data models, quality standards, and governance principles.
• Oversee data migration execution and integration with SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Ensure strong governance, testing, and quality control throughout the data lifecycle.
• Partner with system integrators and segment leaders to ensure alignment, consistency, and on-time delivery.
• Support data-driven decision making and link data readiness to business outcomes.

What are we looking for?

• 10+ years in SAP data leadership roles (data migration, governance, or analytics).
• Experience leading data workstreams in at least 3 SAP implementations or transformations.
• Strong technical expertise in SAP MDG, Syniti/SNP, S/4HANA, and related analytics tools.
• Knowledge of SAP Datasphere, SAC, and integration frameworks (IDoc, BAPI, etc.).
• Organized, collaborative, and solutions-focused, with strong documentation and presentation skills.
• Comfortable working in complex global environments and managing multiple stakeholders.
• Certifications in SAP MDG, SAC, or relevant tools are a plus.
