Responsible for maintaining project schedules, optimising its logic, incorporating progress, and tracking completion of tasks; reporting performance to project controls, collaborating with project team, ensuring compliance with planning processes and contributing significantly to the successful execution of construction projects. 

What you'll be doing

  • Formulate the agreed planning strategy onto a programme by using planning software: create activities in an ordered and structured sequence, display durations and logic links, add key dates and constraints to give timings and dates for each activity. 
  • Monitor and gather performance information from the relevant stakeholders and incorporate accurate progress into the working programme, contributing to the periodic reporting update. 
  • Implementation and maintenance of project controls processes for scheduling, including the production of monthly reports, through the provision of intelligent information and analysis.
  • Ensuring the programme content is functionally compliant with business management systems and project planning procedures. 
  • Monitoring work activity with appropriate key performance indicators set up and in place to identify programme gain/slip. 
  • Analyse project data and KPIs to track progress, identify deviations and make data-driven decisions for project improvements. 


Who we're looking for

  • Analytical, attention to detail and problem solving. 
  • Good understanding and management of data and processes. 
  • Excellent communication skills. 
  • Understanding of project management tools and software (Excel, MS, Project, Confirm) 
  • Knowledge in construction project scheduling including ability to create, manage and progress monitoring and optimisation of project schedules using industry-standard tools. 
  • Knowledge of projects, various phases, processes and requirements to facilitate effective project planning.
