Role: Attendance Assistant
Academy: Outwood Academy Easingwold
Working Pattern: Part Time 22 hours per week, Term time only plus 1 week.
Actual Salary (22 Hours Per week): £12,650 to £12,851
Outwood Academy Easingwold requires an Attendance Assistant to provide administrative support to promote whole school attendance strategies to fulfil our responsibility in the improvement and sustainability of attendance in our academy. Owing to the nature of the role, an ability to relate to the academy’s students and their parents/carers in a positive and proactive way is crucial.
About The Role
As an Attendance Assistant you will provide administrative support to promote whole school attendance strategies. The ideal candidate will also play a key role in fulfilling our responsibility in our academy of improving and making attendance more sustainable for students, with the aim of improving attendance levels and reducing persistent absence in line with Academy Targets.
Owing to the nature of the role, an ability to relate to the academy’s students and their parents/carers in a positive and proactive way is crucial, the successful candidate will also have to have strong communication skills as in this role there will be an expectation to update, inform and advise academy staff at all levels.
To be successful in this rewarding role, you will need to be extremely well organised, have the ability to prioritise work and ensure that strict deadlines are met.
