The Role
Croydon High School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Nurse to join our pastoral and safeguarding team. You will play a vital role in promoting the health and wellbeing of our pupils.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering clinically effective nursing and first aid care to pupils and staff.
- Supporting vulnerable pupils with tailored care plans and mental health support.
- Collaborating with staff, parents, and external agencies on long-term health management.
- Playing a key role in safeguarding, PSHE, and health promotion initiatives.
- Maintaining medical records and upholding confidentiality in line with safeguarding policies.
We Are Looking For
- An NMC registered nurse (Adult or Children’s Nurse Level 1) with at least 2 years’ post-registration experience and strong clinical, communication, and organisational skills.
- A caring, proactive professional with a passion for supporting young people.
- Knowledge of child protection procedures, health promotion, and risk assessment.
- Experience in school nursing, mental health, sexual health, or paediatrics
- First Aid at Work qualification is desirable.
