Are you a passionate Chemistry, Materials Science or Chemical Engineering professional ready to innovate and make an impact? Saint Gobain Interior Solutions is looking for a dynamic Scientist to join our Product Development team at our East Leake site in Loughborough.

This full-time position offers a flexible work schedule (Mon-Fri, 36.25 hours/week)

• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of existing systems. Help us uphold our reputation for delivering walls with exceptional fire performance, acoustic, and thermal properties.

What You'll Do:

• Projects: Manage and support business projects, ensuring the successful implementation of new and existing systems.
• Product Development: Participate in the physical assembly and testing of innovative products.
• Customer Support: Offer expert advice and solutions to customers, ensuring all materials and systems meet required standards.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work alongside diverse teams, contributing to continuous improvement and high standards of performance.

What We’re Looking For:

• Educational Background: A degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Materials Science or any other related science discipline.
• Preferred Experience: Experience with thermal, acoustic, and fire properties of materials is highly desirable.
• Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to innovation.
