The role involves molecular biology, mammalian cell culture, protein purification and analytics and genetic characterization techniques. You will be working on multiple customer projects. As part of your role, good record keeping, understanding of regulatory requirements and skilled presentation of data will be important. The role will involve the execution and documentation of work to regulatory required standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Vector Constructions, express and purify encoded proteins using platform mammalian expression system according to strict SOPs.
• Isolate mRNA and Genomic DNA and genetically characterise cell lines
• Purification techniques for the purification of proteins.
• Perform a range of analytical assays for protein characterisation.
• Prepare high quality reports and data summaries.
• Performing lab and area inspections to maintain high levels of quality and safety. Contribute to lab cleaning rota and Operational Excellence initiatives.
• Effectively connect with external customers and internal team members across departments and sites.
  
  

Key Requirements

• Degree or equivalent experience in life sciences industry
• Proficient in English
• Previous experience in purification development
