Search Engine Optimization Manager

Reporting into the Director of Performance Marketing, we are looking for a SEO Manager to join us and play an integral role in shaping the next chapter of our journey. This role is an exciting opportunity to join the team and work on a range of technical and creative campaigns that will help drive performance and awareness to our customers.

As a key member of our team, you will support with the delivery of scheduled technical work and help develop and implement successful SEO strategies aligned with our commercial goals.

Key responsibilities for this role include

• Supporting the Director of Performance Marketing in the creation and execution of our SEO strategy to drive traffic, enquiries and new customer acquisition
• Understanding and implementing technical SEO audits and proposed changes
• Reporting on key weekly and monthly KPIs (including growth, engagement and conversions)
• Help deliver data analysis to provide insights that drive actionable outcomes
• Work closely with internal design and development teams to ensure ongoing changes to the website are delivered and optimised correctly
• Keen eye for understanding a competitor's performance and how to benchmark against them to improve our own performance
• Use your knowledge of Google’s recent algorithm changes to report and guide best practice within the team across scheduled work
• Grow our in-house SEO team capabilities through the training and mentoring of junior team members

The ideal candidate for this role

• High level of experience ideally in an agency or in-house
• Strong understanding of organic search best practice and how to apply that knowledge to technical, content and wider marketing campaigns
• Understanding of Google Analytics and Google Search Console
• Experience using tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog and other SEO tools
• A genuine interest for SEO, staying up to date with the latest developments, trends and updates within the industry
