We’re looking for a highly strategic and hands-on Search expert to lead our search marketing strategy across all platforms in paid and organic. This role is designed to accelerate growth and visibility through expertise and cross-functional leadership. Great opportunity to have a taste of L’Oréal.
You’ll be responsible for defining and driving an integrated search strategy that spans Google, YouTube, Amazon, Boots, Look Fantastic, etc. and emerging channels like TikTok and ChatGPT, ensuring performance is maximized. This role will require someone who can think holistically and act decisively, aligning with eCommerce, brand and media teams.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Develop and own the integrated search strategy across paid and organic.
- Work with internal teams and agencies to deliver execution at pace.
- Audit and accelerate search performance, including technical SEO, content strategy and media synergies.
- Act as the central point of contact for all search-related activity, aligning search with broader brand, content, and campaign strategies.
- Collaborate closely with product, media and eCommerce teams to unlock insights and improve performance.
- Set and track KPIs to monitor effectiveness, share insights, and inform decision-making at speed.
- Provide thought leadership on emerging trends in search, AI-driven tools, and platform innovations.
- Manage agency relationships and, where needed and in-house specialists.
Who You Are
- Proven experience in search roles, ideally at a Head of Search or Senior Manager level within a high-growth D2C or retail brand.
- Deep knowledge of search platforms, campaign architecture, and full-funnel measurement.
- Demonstrable experience driving impact across both paid and organic search channels.
- Strong understanding of performance marketing principles, attribution, and conversion optimisation.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Experience with tools such as GA4, Google Ads, Search Console, SEMrush or equivalent.
- Hands-on mindset with a results-first attitude.
