Introduction

Are you the one we are looking for? We are looking for a skilled and competent professional who can support us with our statutory SEN duties related to high needs funding for our children & young people with EHCP’s.

What’s the role?

You will be able to work independently, support education settings with funding queries they may have related to individual learners with EHCP, ensure that schools receive termly funding schedules, that children’s case records are updated with the relevant information on funding award to deliver their EHCP and will be the first point of contact for education settings in and out of borough.

You will also support our CYP Finance Team by providing monthly data and information on our high needs spending and will assist with contract monitoring related to individual providers. You will support the Send Multi Agency Group Manager and wider team related to send funding matters, and will be part of the wider team.

You will work in a busy and supportive statutory SEN Service, where everybody works hard to support our most vulnerable children and young people with SEND and EHC Plans.

Location

The job is primarily based in Laurence House, but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work both in the office and from home on a regular basis.

Special conditions

• The job is subject to an BasicDBS check

Salary

£42,861 - £44,430 per annum (PO1)

N.B: All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP) for the grade of the role. The only exception to this will be when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale), which is subject to evidential proof.
