Space Communications | Permanent Role | Hybrid Working


An innovative player in the space technology sector is expanding its UK team and seeking an experienced Test & Verification Engineer to work on the next generation of 5G non-terrestrial network (NTN) satellite systems.


๐Ÿ” The Role

Lead the full test cycle of 5G NTN satellite technology - prepare test procedures, execute integration and conformance testing, automate scripts, and produce detailed reports. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure quality and performance standards are met.


๐Ÿ“‹ Key Responsibilities

  • Perform integration, conformance, functional, and environmental testing of 5G elements
  • Develop and execute test plans and automated scripts for units under test (UUT) and support equipment
  • Conduct electrical integration of UUT with test benches and equipment
  • Manage non-conformances and contribute to test and project reviews
  • Produce comprehensive technical test reports


๐Ÿง  What Weโ€™re Looking For

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Maths, or Physics (Masterโ€™s preferred)
  • Experience in communications system engineering with solid 5G NR and NB-IoT knowledge
  • Experience with 3GPP base station conformance testing and 5G core network understanding
  • Proficient with 5G test equipment and Linux-based systems
  • Excellent communication skills, stakeholder management, and mentoring ability
  • Space industry or 5G NTN experience, phased array antennas, or onboard processing technology is a plus

  • Working Pattern: Hybrid - 3 days per week on-site
