Position: Senior Account Director - Domestic Film & TV PR

Location: Los Angeles

Senior Account Director Summary:

A confident, highly organized individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills who is comfortable liaising with clients, talent, talent reps, producers/filmmakers, and media. PR pro who is strategic, creative, and passionate about exceeding client expectations. A strong leader and self-starter, who has the ability to lead film and TV/streaming campaigns from the ground up and provide overall organizational and material development including coordinating press junkets, press tours, status reports, timelines and execute and manage budgets. Able to lead clients and projects in terms of day-to-day activities and develop and execute overall campaign strategy. Also able to provide press releases, media materials, presentations, budgets, and other documents as required.

Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for bringing in new film and TV clients.
• Responsible for project outcomes and managing employee work throughout campaign duration.
• Review all campaign strategies, press releases and media campaigns to ensure on-point communications.
• Provide on-going strategic counsel to all clients.
• Respond to new client directives and expectations.
• Determine client expectations and develop strategies based on their input, budgets and campaign goals.
• Supervise execution of multi-component press campaigns and analyze results to determine next steps.
• Ensure that all responses to journalists and media inquiries are on-campaign.
• Anticipate industry changes and develop creative solutions.
• Refine new business pitches and lead presentation for large account opportunities.
• Present campaign strategy and executional plan to clients.
• Define fees and scope of work with clients.
• Leadership of internal team in tandem with other managers and providing guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
• Experience working with film festivals and willingness to travel.
• 2-3 days in-office/week. *Subject to change*

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• BS/BA in Public Relations, Communications, or relevant field.
• 7+ years of experience in the industry. Film experience is a must.
• Success in multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional, leader, team player, proactive, and personable demeanor.
• Self-motivated, self-starter, takes initiative and follows-through.
• Effective listening, strong verbal, and written communications skills.
• Strong organizational, time management skills and work ethic.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
