Your Career

This is your opportunity to step into a strategic, customer-facing role where your experience in selling cloud-based solutions will shine. As a Senior Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for driving growth and nurturing relationships with large and medium-sized enterprise clients within the Scottish Public Sector. You’ll work with director-level stakeholders, demonstrating how MHR’s HR, Payroll, and Finance solutions deliver tangible business value. By leveraging ROI and TCO models, you'll support key decision-making processes and position yourself for long-term career growth in an ambitious and supportive environment.

Your Team

You’ll be a vital part of our Account Management team, collaborating with talented individuals across Customer Success, Technical, and Product teams to deliver innovative, value-driven solutions. Together, you’ll build and maintain strategic account plans and shared vision roadmaps tailored to each customer’s unique needs. In this team-selling environment, your success is everyone’s success. Built on open communication, shared goals, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer outcomes.

Your Impact

Your role will directly influence the success and satisfaction of MHR’s Scottish Public Sector customers. By fostering strong, trust-based relationships, addressing complex challenges, and effectively communicating MHR’s value proposition, you will help organisations realise their strategic goals through technology. Your work will not only drive customer retention and growth but also reinforce MHR’s position as a trusted technology partner.

Key Skills

  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and sell at director and C-level.
  • Consistent performance in meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving customer satisfaction.
  • Experience in account planning and contract negotiation/management.
  • Skilled in communicating business value using ROI and TCO frameworks.
  • Strong discovery, planning, and closing capabilities.
  • Confident in handling objections and overcoming sales barriers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Track record of selling cloud-based software, ideally within HR, Payroll, or Finance sectors.
  • Empathetic, with the ability to connect across all levels of an organisation.
  • A strong collaborator who thrives in a team-selling environment.
  • Strong commercial and technology awareness, including cloud, integrations, and analytics.
