Within the Secured Capital & Impairment Team, we calculate the Capital & Impairment values for the TSB’s Secured Mortgage Portfolio. We ensure the Bank has enough capital to cover potential losses and meet regulatory requirements as well as impairment values to account for expected credit losses.

How You'll Make a Difference

The Senior Analyst is responsible for supporting the timely and accurate production of reports and to provide insight into monthly Capital & Impairment movements within TSB’s Mortgage Portfolio. In addition to this, the role holder will contribute to the continued development of new and existing processes and provide analytical insight and mitigation into emerging risks that will impact Mortgage customers. The role provides the opportunity to work with a number of key stakeholders across TSB and involves engagement with senior members of the TSB Risk Leadership team.

What You'll Bring

• You have a minimum of 12 months experience in Credit Risk, ideally with experience or knowledge of IRB and/or IFRS9
• Ideally, you have a degree in a numerical or science based subject
• Your analytical skills are very strong and you have excellent attention to detail
• You can work well on your own or as part of a team
• You plan and organise your work well and can prioritise effectively
• It would be great if you have a broader knowledge of credit risk
