We are seeking a talented Senior Business Analyst - Regulatory Reporting, specifically with experience in Retail Banking and Financial Services projects to join our growing practice at Expleo.
The Role Has Two Components
- Client Focused - delivering consultancy and analytical services to clients to co-create value
- Expleo - supporting the BA practice and working within others as part of a multidisciplinary delivery team
Responsibilities
- For a client engagement:
- Elicitation and translation of complex regulatory requirements into actionable process and technical solutions.
- Facilitate workshops with cross-functional stakeholders including Finance, Treasury, Risk, Data, and Technology teams.
- Produce high-quality documentation such as process maps, regulatory requirement specifications, and data definitions.
- Manage and ensure completeness of functional and non-functional requirements, culminating in the delivery of a comprehensive Business Requirements Document (BRD).
- Support the implementation and operationalisation of a new regulatory reporting tool, ensuring alignment with European Central Bank, Financial Conduct Authority, and Prudential Regulation Authority standards.
- Provide advisory input on regulatory interpretations to ensure compliance and alignment with supervisory expectations.
- Support testing, validation, and readiness activities for regulatory submissions.
- Collaborate with external vendors, including regulatory reporting software providers, and internal architecture and data teams.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships across internal teams, vendors, and leadership stakeholders.
- Prepare structured written deliverables, presentation decks, and progress reports to support programme leadership.

- Network and work as part of multi-disciplinary teams, including Operations, Sales and Client Success Partners
- Identify opportunities for business development with the client
- Comply with Expleo Delivery governance related to sharing client knowledge and relationship management, reporting, raising issues, as well as capturing learning and case studies for clients
- Share your knowledge and experience with other team members
- Support team success and motivate others to keep morale and performance high
Qualifications
- BCS Business Analysis International Diploma (or equivalent)
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience
Essential Skills
- Good Stakeholder management & Communication Skills
- The ability to work independently under direction from BA Headcount Practice Lead
- Have accountability for output with focus on quality
- Must be able to work on multiple topics and manage priorities and deliver to deadlines
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, regulated financial services environment.
Experience
- Extensive experience in regulatory reporting within financial services or similarly regulated environments.
- Familiarity with European Central Bank, Financial Conduct Authority, and Prudential Regulation Authority standards.
- Experience with system implementation projects, ideally involving regulatory reporting tools.
- Strong data awareness, with working knowledge of SQL and Excel-based analysis.
