Senior Care Assistant (Days): up to £14.40 per hour (36 hrs per week, including alternative weekends) 1 Year Maternity cover
Location: Footherley Hall Care Home, Shenstone, Lichfield WS14 0HG

About the Role:
As a Senior Care Assistant you will act as a role model by leading and supervising the care team. You will promote high standards of person centred care by ensuring all team members are trained and supervised appropriately and you will communicate professionally and warmly with visitors, family members and other health care professionals.
This role includes:
Digital Care Planning (writing, updating and reviewing)
Medication Administration, ordering and booking in
Conducting supervisions and appraisals
Admitting new residents
Supervising high performing teams
Completing handovers
Inducting new staff
Liaising with health professionals and relatives
Supporting residents with high quality care
Essentials:
Knowledge of developing digital Care Plans
Requirements of latest care standards and relevant legislation
Previous experience working nights in elderly residential care
Ability to work flexible hours and weekends
Previous supervisory experience
Excellent IT Skills
Minimum required experience to apply:
Minimum of 12 months Supervisory experience in an elderly care home
At least 12 months previous experience in a senior HCA level role
At least 12 months experience in Medication Administration
Required certifications:
NVQ Level 3
Certified medication training - advanced level
Driving license and access to a car, due to the location of our home
