If complex engineering projects, an employer that supports your development and recognises your achievements and a supportive and collaborative team environment are important to you then Black & White Engineering is an employer to join.
You will be designing roads and drainage solutions for complex and challenging European and UK datacentre projects. The projects you will be working on are with major players in the data centre sector, where the company has established relationships. Not only will you have your chance to work on some of the key projects across UK and Europe, but also be part of a growing supportive team of engineers in the UK and the global engineering design centre.
The key elements that we are looking for from engineers are:
1) A strong engineering degree (or equivalent) in Civil engineering and recently chartered or approaching chartered status.
2) Relevant experience of complementary external works specialisms such as ground profiling, services distribution and landscaping
3) Delivery of small to large scale projects in a variety of sectors, from concept designs through to completion. Any experience of data centre or mission critical projects is viewed as advantageous.
4) A collaborative team player, with good communication skills, who is happy to share their knowledge with those around them and always be open to learning and developing themselves professionally and personally.
5) Ability to work in an evolving market where new technologies and innovations can be embraced.
You will be joining a community that focuses on learning and development through regular lunch and learn sessions, investment in accredited professional courses or educational programmes and support towards chartered engineer status if you so desire. You can set the pace for your professional development, and whatever path you choose, you will receive support.
With Black & White's exponential growth over the last few years, numerous colleagues have progressed from engineering roles into leadership positions, and you could be next. You will be able to make an impact both internally and with clients and receive suitable recognition.
If you are interested in starting or continuing your career in datacentre structural engineering, then please apply for the role or contact Mike Tonks or Marty Sikora directly.
