We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to join our business as we continue to scale.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to join our Ensemble team. This team is responsible for building a blockchain to fulfil the energy transition requirement within ENODA.
As a key contributor, you will be responsible for the design, deployment, and ongoing management of our blockchain infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of blockchain technology, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure.

You'll Spend Your Time
- Designing and implementing automated deployment pipelines for blockchain nodes across GCP platform
- Configuring and optimizing node performance, security, and reliability
- Monitoring node health and performance metrics, and proactively addressing any issues
- Implementing disaster recovery and business continuity plans for blockchain infrastructure
- Designing and managing the network topology for optimal performance and security
- Implementing robust security measures to protect the blockchain network from attacks
- Conducting regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
- Staying up-to-date with the latest security best practices and threats
- Automating routine tasks to improve efficiency and reduce human error
- Collaborating with development teams to improve system reliability and performance
- Developing and enforcing standards and policies for blockchain infrastructure management
The Key Experience We're Looking For
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) and configuration management tools (Terraform, or equivalent)
- Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (GCP, KMS) and virtualization technologies
- Proven experience with blockchain protocols (Ethereum, Bitcoin, Cosmos, etc.) and consensus mechanisms
- Knowledge of network protocols and security best practices
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, etc.)
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues (latency/network issues)
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- A strong interest in blockchain technology and its potential applications
- A desire to contribute to the growth of the blockchain ecosystem
