Senior Commercial Finance Business Partner

We are looking for a Senior Commercial Business Partner to play an imperative part in our UK finance team. The role will assist and support the Finance Director and the wider finance team in delivering budgets and forecasts, month end reporting, financial planning and control, operations and analysis for all IPGH UK agencies and team.

You will be responsible for the development and supervision of the Commercial Finance Team made up of commercial business partners and analysts who support the agencies to understand the commercial health of projects and agency.

Other responsibilities will include:

• Leading, developing and providing inspiration to the commercial finance team in delivering sound commercial support to the business.
• Providing insightful analysis and championing the use of agency KPIs such as recoverability, utilisation, contribution and capacity planning to help drive profitability & identify growth opportunities. Be proactive in pushing the business forward and constantly look for new ways to improve.
• Ensuring monthly/quarterly revenue recognition is in compliance with IPG policy.
• Hyperion, preparation & submission of all revenue and commercial supporting schedules.
• Coordinating & reviewing aged debt & WIP, providing explanations and actions plans to Financial Controller.
• Being a true commercial business partner who offers senior level guidance and financial leadership to the wider agency.
• Promoting commercial awareness in the agency through regular training & day-to-day support.
• Coordination, preparation, review & submission of revenue figures for annual budgets, quarterly reforecasts & flash reporting. Providing variance analysis and commentary.
• Monitoring agency timesheets for timeliness, accuracy and identifying any risks of over-delivery.

The role will require you to attend our London office twice a week.
