Description
Join us in this role where you’ll work as Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist at our UK West hub, which forms part of the Region Europe Generation Portfolio. Reporting directly to the Head of Continuous Improvement, you’ll lead and support improvement initiatives that optimise operational performance, drive efficiency, and embed a culture of continuous improvement across the UK West hub.

Welcome to Generation Europe

You’ll be part of UK West Hub where you, together with your colleagues, will collaborate closely with engineers, site operations, and cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities and implement impactful solutions that align with strategic objectives.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • leading and delivering end-to-end continuous improvement and change initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other proven methodologies to improve processes, performance, and cost efficiency
  • working with cross-functional teams to analyse operational performance and identify key areas for improvement, developing tailored solutions with measurable outcomes
  • managing improvement projects from initial scoping and stakeholder alignment through to implementation and hypercare, ensuring sustainable change and measurable impact
  • delivering training, coaching, and capability-building to empower colleagues and embed continuous improvement mindsets across teams
  • monitoring initiative progress, tracking KPIs, and ensuring alignment with strategic goals and regulatory requirements
  • building strong relationships with stakeholders to influence change and ensure successful implementation of improvement strategies
  • supporting risk and opportunity assessments and contributing to business cases that demonstrate value delivery

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; a Master's degree and Lean Six Sigma certification are desirable
  • bring a minimum of 5 years’ experience in continuous improvement, project management, or operational excellence in a technical or industrial environment
  • possess excellent project management skills and are confident driving change across complex, multi-stakeholder environments
  • are analytical and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to turn data into actionable insights
  • communicate clearly and effectively across all levels and are capable of influencing key decision-makers
  • are collaborative by nature, thrive in dynamic environments, and are passionate about sustainability and innovation.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
