We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our team and work closely with key stakeholders to identify and qualify strategic opportunities that will enhance our business value. About The Role
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical subject matter experts to explore strategic opportunities for value from data, analytics and AI, by analysing complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for growth.
- Use advanced analytical techniques to analyse large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that can drive strategic decision-making and increase our conviction in opportunities for value.
- Storytelling that effectively articulates the value of data in business decisions to drive real change, by present findings and actionable insights to senior leaders in a clear and concise manner to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure integrity and accuracy in all analyses and recommendations.
- Collaborate with Data & AI Strategy Consultants and cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven opportunities.
- Liaise with subject matter experts to identify data that is important and collaborate with Data colleagues to define the technical approach needed to deliver a path to value.
About You
- An inquisitive mind, constantly looking at opportunities with curiosity, and confident in handling complexity and ambiguity
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, and proven experience of data analysis for strategic business opportunities
- Strong influencing skills and excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in relevant data technologies such as Azure, DataBricks, PowerBI, and coding languages such as Python, SQL; and you’ll have experience using Git to ensure a robust, versioned and traceable codebase.
- Skilled and experienced in statistical analysis and data modelling, and proficiency in data wrangling and data feature engineering.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role, with a strong focus on data mining and analysis.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
