EMEA Business Data Cloud (BDC) Services is a regional team under the EMEA Services organization. It is chartered to run Services Business of BDC – specifically around Data & Analytics portfolio to build a solid foundation for Business AI. The team is helping customers innovate on Business Data Cloud and accelerate their Cloud journey. The SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) is the data & analytics platform on BTP for the Intelligent Enterprise, helping customers to achieve agility, business value, and continual innovation through integration, data to value, and extensibility of all SAP and third-party applications and data assets.

SAP offers an opportunity to highly motivated individuals to support the BDC Services Team and work closely with customers in the areas of Business Technology Platform, Analytics, Data Management, Governance, architecture etc. to deliver a solid data strategy for SAP customers. We value your interest and experience in problem-solving, as you will focus on modernization needs of our customers and delivering business insights using BDC. You will support as a trusted advisor and solution expert for the SAP BDC solution portfolio in this customer facing role. You will interact with customers’ senior executives, technical and LOB leaders whereby you will articulate the business value of the BDC.

What You'll Do

Responsibilities & Tasks

• Hands-on knowledge on BDC services around Data & Analytics portfolio and ability to guide customers and partners as SME on SAP Database, Governance, Strategy, Data Management and Analytics and Planning.
• Lead data initiatives for large enterprises to help them prepare for transformation journey on data including but not limited to implementation of Data Quality audits, data strategy, analytics strategy, data governance strategy, migration strategy, data warehousing, data driven AI innovations etc.
• Run innovation workshops to be able to articulate the use of technology to solve the business problems and deliver proof of concept on new innovations from SAP.
• Actively manage and run initiatives incl. GTM motions for Business Data Cloud aiming at consumption and adoption of the BDC
• Working closely with customers to identify and develop use cases on SAP BDC along a business process across all LoBs with highest quality standards and value.
• Supporting regional customers through whole lifecycle of projects by delivering onsite and/or remote BDC advisory services. Supporting all activities in the context of implementation projects across all project phases and project tasks for our customers.
• Personalizing materials and demos to ensure delivery of compelling customer presentations based on unique needs identified from discovery sessions.
• Building and Delivering Hands-on presentations and demonstrations of the SAP BDC, including clear value propositions and key differentiators. Managing prototypes and proof-of-concept demonstrations.
• Producing technical architecture documents and conducting independent research in order to interpret, understand, and visualize content in the most effective manner and transmit the message with clarity.
• Producing strategy and governance framework/guidelines to help customers meet their current requirements and also future visions by working closely with principal architect.
• Supporting pre-sales activities and maintaining, creating, & following up on a list of various Services Sales Leads and Opportunities.
• Collaborating in cross-functional teams together with Industry and Specialized Sales and Presales, Product Management, CEEs, Services and Partners.
• Delivering knowledge transfer sessions to SAP employees, partners and customers
  
  

What You Bring

Skills Required

• Must have BDC Development Skills on Data Management and Analytics tools incl. data governance, data migration and distribution aspects
• Broad knowledge of SAP’s strategy, the latest product portfolio (S/4HANA, BDC, Business AI, Cloud and related solutions) and their impact on business strategies is a must
• Must have project experience in delivering data management projects, preferably using SAP technology.
• Able to demonstrate best practices in data management topics like governance, migration, quality etc., and must have experience across projects.
• SAP MDG implementation experience is desired, Datasphere and SAC experience is a must
• Experts are expected to demonstrate knowledge of business processes, solution, configuration, integration, and best practices,
• Experience in self-managed project work at customer, high focus on customer orientation, and convincing personality for interaction. Ability to deliver agile services in a fast-paced environment and facing tight deadlines,
• Must have a Knack of innovation – good understanding of data driven business AI possibilities
• Must have creative skills and the ability to visualize a complex concept using tools for designing purposes,
• Must have problem-solving skills with the ability to work conceptually in results driven engagements,
• Strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to design and prepare high-impact presentations is a must
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills in English and a very good team player.
  
  

Education / Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate with a Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Design, Engineering, or similar.
• Demonstrated experience (7+ years) in Presales, Solution Advisor, Business Development, Business Consultancy in Architect capacity.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills including collaboration, presentation, facilitation and persuasion.
• Fluency in English is a must and additional languages will be considered a plus.
