What you’ll be doing
Lead the Business Operations team across the DDT&E organization, ensuring the effective design, implementation, and running of Business Operations activities. Responsibilities include:
- Implementation and evolution of the DDT&E operating framework/ways of working and associated business reporting & review structure.
- Production of Business reports, ensuring clarity of messaging and data-driven performance indicators, enabled by digitization & dashboards.
- Co-ordination of the Integrated Business Planning process and resource Demand and Supply process.
- Leadership of Business Improvement activities.
- Management of the Business Continuity, SHE, and Facilities activities and objectives.
- Management of Project Management capability, including recruitment and development, working collaboratively with the PM function.
Your skills and experiences
- Degree qualified with a professional project management certification, such as APM/APMP or equivalent.
- Proven experience in designing and deploying business operating frameworks across a large and complex business, enabled by digitization & dashboards.
- Experience in each part of the life cycle (Concept, Bid, Delivery) and ideally has undertaken Project Management / Project Control roles in the Design & Development environment.
- Confident and articulate in interfacing and influencing at a senior management / director level. Be collaborative, motivated, and engaging with the ability to manage conflicting demands & priorities.
- Significant experience in leading & collaborating across teams to deliver on outcomes, as well as the implementation of business improvement initiatives.
