The Senior Data Partnership Manager is responsible for managing nCino’s technology and data partner ecosystem across the UK and future international regions in EMEA. This role leads efforts in relation to vetting and onboarding potential partners, business development and go-to-market strategies of existing partners, as well as ensuring the whole ecosystem is well-equipped to support nCino’s growth at scale. It requires robust cross-team collaboration across nCino departments including, but not limited to, Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Success to enhance the depth and scale of our technology partnerships. This role acts as the steward and champion for our data partners internally.

  • Manage and own the overall relationship between nCino and its technology and data partners.
  • Responsible for vetting and onboarding new partners, and performing risk management and mitigation, with the aim of helping both our partners and nCino to reliably achieve revenue and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Forecast, track, and manage partner-influenced revenue goals and expectations, including renewals and upsell opportunities.
  • Establish deep relationships with key executives at all partners across the region and drive relationship-building activities between our partners and internal teams.
  • Serve as the primary point of escalation for all client-specific queries and internal issues in relation to deals, RFPs, and data partner capabilities.
  • Lead annual partner planning sessions to cover all facets of the partnership – pipeline and forecasting, marketing activities including go-to-market initiatives, and delivery review.
  • Support all partnership and alliance agreements, and any other contractual documentation between our partners, ensuring commercial terms are reflective of costs versus client value.
  • Educate our partner ecosystem on nCino’s roadmap and future product strategies, ensuring any partner-led concerns or product ideas are escalated to the internal product teams.
  • Forward-looking plan for and coordinate technical support of partner integrations, enablement activities, and sales tools.
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure accurate scoping and resourcing during the pre-sales process.

Business Development, Marketing, and Sales

  • Work with the nCino marketing team to lead the definition of joint go-to-market strategies and translate major product developments into customer benefits and messaging.
  • Enable the partner ecosystem with nCino’s sales tactics, positioning, and value propositions.
  • Work with internal sales leadership and individual sales representatives to manage the partner pipeline and drive qualified leads for major accounts.
  • Coordinate partner marketing activities including conferences, white papers, webinars etc.
  • Influence buy-in and alignment across Sales and Product leadership for new and existing partner relationships with clear success metrics defined annually.

Delivery

  • Mobilize and enable the ecosystem with nCino’s expectations around data integration best practices and establish ways of working with a continual improvement mindset.
  • Work with Product and Sales teams to establish review cadences with partners to continually drive best practice and support new product development.
  • Lead partner training coordination and enablement.
  • As the business expands internationally, develop relationships with data partners in new regions, understanding the market & regulatory requirements in each of those regions.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with stakeholders across the business to ensure nCino’s Partner Program is consistent and scalable.

#Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of Relationship Management, B2B Sales, or Software experience, preferably within the RegTech or SaaS sectors.
  • Proven track record of partner management with an ability to demonstrate successful outcomes and consistently meet or exceed commercial targets.
  • Strong listening skills and impeccable verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Problem-solving mindset (inquisitive) with an eye on continual improvement and finding a way to get things done.
  • Flexible demeanor with strong situational adaptability and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Adept at conflict resolution and the ability to think through and resolve complex scenarios.

Desired

  • Subject Matter Expert for Banking and Finance sectors, with specific understanding of Credit Risk & Financial Crime.
  • Experience with Data / Credit Reference Agencies.
  • FinTech Ecosystem experience at a SaaS company.
  • Experience supporting international expansion and developing partner relationships in new regions.
  • Banking experience.

Travel

  • This hybrid role is based in the UK. The position will require significant domestic and international travel to manage partner relationships effectively.
