Senior Design Engineer

Due to continued growth, we are searching for a Senior Design Engineer to join our engineering team in one of our Dewsbury design offices. Reporting to the Design Team Leader, you will produce temporary works designs for excavation support, propping, formwork, and falsework.

You Will

• Prepare temporary works designs for structural support and propping schemes
• Checking designs and drawing per BS5975:2024
• Attend client meetings and carry out site visits
• Review design briefs provided by the sales team through Launchpad and provide feedback if more information is required
• Managing your own workload
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects as agreed by the Engineering Director
  
  

You Will Have

• A HND or degree in civil/structural engineering
• At least 3 years experience designing temporary works
• The ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment
• Experience of designing Formwork & Falsework
• Good understanding of CDM 2015
• Experience utilising AutoCAD 2D and/or REVIT
  
  

We Would Also Love It If You Have

• Experience of checking Structural Support & Propping
• Experience training and mentoring junior members of the team
• Experience working for a supplier or in a commercial environment
• Some experience working on site
