We are seeking motivated and talented individuals to join our Navitas Engineering team as a Senior Design Engineer or Design Engineer. We are looking for a Design Engineer and Senior Designer to focus in the Rail sector and one Senior or Design Engineer for the Energy/DNO markets.

Navitas Engineering capability and specialism cover the complete asset life-cycle, including design, installation, testing and commissioning phases. We have the experience and capability to provide solutions in the UK and Overseas.

You'll be working on…. (what your role and responsibility is)

• Lead the design and engineering projects from feasibility to commissioning phases.
• Develop and manage electrical designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and oversee the work of junior engineers.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
• Ensure quality assurance, risk management, and adherence to safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.

About You…. (what You Are Skilled At)

• Proficient use of industry standard electrical design tools.
• Experience in use of CAD software is preferable.
• Experience with ETAP, MicroStation, CDEGS, MATLAB and StrikeRisk for system modelling and analysis is preferable.
  
  

You'll Bring… (your Wealth Of Experience & Qualifications)

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards it.
• Proven experience in the design of railway or energy related electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
