ONS operates a flexible hybrid working model across the UK, with colleagues linked to one of our contractual locations in Newport, Titchfield (Fareham), London, Manchester, Edinburgh and working between office and remote throughout the week.
As part of the hybrid working arrangement there is 40% a minimum office attendance requirement. Attendance is typically at your contractual office, with occasional travel to alternative locations. Essential Skills Criteria
As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer, the ideal candidate would be able to demonstrate:
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues supported by excellent communication and customer service experience.
- Ability to coach, mentor and provide constructive feedback to colleagues in delivering technical solutions.
- Have experience of administering Cloud technology in Amazon Web Services and understand security principles for Cloud infrastructure.
- Familiarity with using ‘Infrastructure as Code’ tools such as Terraform, GitHub and CI/CD pipelines such as Concourse.
- Familiarity with containers and container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Big Data Platforms such as Cloudera Data Platform.
