We are currently looking for a highly motivated
Senior Director Sales, BT Group New Business to join our Sales team in the UK.
The Key Responsibilities Of This Role Will Include
- To identify and develop significant new business opportunities.
- Qualify new business opportunities with key customer stakeholders and Adtran management.
- Formulate a sales strategy for each new opportunity and lead campaigns through to closing deals.
Knowledge, Skills And Experience Required
- Strong knowledge of the UK Telecommunications Industry.
- Experience of developing channel partners would be an advantage.
- Knowledge and experience of dealing with BT at all levels.
- Proven experience of optical and access technologies.
- Creative in generating disruptive strategies to attack incumbent competitors installed base.
- Demonstrates an innovative approach to developing strategies to include product, software, services, partnerships etc.
- Must be resourceful and capable of breaking down doors that may seem closed.
- High level of flexibility required and good interpersonal skills.
Scope of employment
- Fulltime / Permanent
- Readiness to regularly travel to customers within the UK (approx. 30%)
- DBS check will be required (Adtran to arrange)
Primary location of job
- Office based (York or Basingstoke), hybrid working or remote working
