MARGO is hiring a Senior Full Stack Developer to join a major investment banking client.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong track record (7–10+ years) in full stack development, with a focus on Java (backend) and Angular (frontend) technologies.

📍 Location: Hybrid role based in London

🎯 Your mission:

Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of a legacy, monolithic application critical to business operations.

💼 What you’ll do:

• Maintain and enhance a legacy monolithic investment banking application
• Deliver high-quality, scalable code using Java and Angular
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, testers, and other developers
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes
• Ensure stability and performance of the application over time

🧠 Technical fit – what we’re looking for:

• Experience working on monolithic and legacy systems
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices
• Familiarity with investment banking or financial services environments is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

🌟Nice to have:

• Experience with modernizing or refactoring legacy applications
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to financial products or trading systems

🛠 Tech stack:

• 7–10+ years of experience in full stack development
• Strong expertise in Java
• Proficient in Angular
