We are looking for a
Senior Group Financial Reporting Manager to join at this exciting time as we continue to grow. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to work in a fast paced, growing company. The role is a crucial one for our continued growth and will report to the Group Head of Finance (based in Bucharest), with direct day to day contact with the CFO in the UK to support the team dynamics. The role will involve:
Responsibilities
· Manage and drive the monthly IFRS consolidation reporting timetable and deliverables, including key consolidation reconciliations;
· Prepare monthly reports and key analysis for the management accounts, and the resultant board pack;
· Establish a Group accounting and financial reporting manual, maintaining the Group’s financial policies and procedures.
· Collaborate with underlying local finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, supporting the teams in all related tasks;
· Preparation of the Group’s (and subsidiaries’) financial statements under IFRS and linked narrative reporting to a timetable;
· Management of the Group’s cash flow forecasting process along with the Group’s current FP&A function;
· Work with tax advisers to deliver the Group’s current and deferred tax accounting disclosures, and support on the filing of all tax compliance
· Taking the lead on technical IFRS and other reporting issues (including impairment, acquisition accounting and going concern assessments) as they arise, assessing the impact of new accounting requirements and related accounts disclosures (including ESG related reporting);
· Assist in the group audit process, acting as the main point of contact on any financial reporting queries;
· Leading ad hoc financial reporting projects for various internal and external stakeholders’ needs; and
· Assist with other projects as necessary, working with global teams to standardize processes and controls that are appropriate for a listed environment.
Qualifications and Experience
· ACA/ACCA or equivalent accountancy qualification with at least 3 years’ post-qualification experience;
· ‘Big 4’ audit qualified;
· Strong references;
· Ability to prioritize multiple concurrent workstreams and meet all reporting requirements is crucial;
· Accuracy and attention to detail, whilst using common sense and initiative to provide working solutions to finance and business needs;
· Taking ownership and accountability for all relevant financial reporting needs, with proactivity in respect of identifying and assessing the financial reporting treatment of the business’ transactions essential; and
· The power to establish and grow strong working relationships with employees across all levels and teams.
· Familiarity with the Betting & Gaming or Ecommerce sector OR Familiarity with NetSuite
