Join Our Imaging Team at St Richard’s Hospital, Chichester
We are pleased to be expanding our Imaging Department at
St Richard’s Hospital as part of ongoing improvements to patient care and service delivery.
We are looking for
enthusiastic and motivated Senior Imaging Clinical Support Workers to join our established, friendly, and dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a key department within the hospital, working in a supportive and professional environment.
As a
Senior Imaging Clinical Support Worker, you will work alongside Radiographers and Radiologists to help ensure the smooth running of the Imaging Department. Your role will involve assisting with the care of patients undergoing a variety of imaging procedures.
We’re Seeking Individuals Who Are
- Hardworking and dependable
- Flexible and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Team players with a positive, can-do attitude
- Confident in supporting patients during sensitive and sometimes complex examinations
Previous healthcare experience is essential, and while this is not a new role, full support and training will be provided to help you carry out your duties confidently across Imaging specialities.
If you’re passionate about patient care and want to make a real difference, we would love to hear from you.
This dynamic and evolving role will include coordinating the workflow in specific Imaging areas, assisting Radiographers in the preparation of patients and equipment for imaging examinations, ensuring pre-examination checks and information are available, liaising with wards and porters, assisting with patient transfers and the orientation of patients around the department.
As part of the role you will also perform caring activities for the patients ensuring patients' needs and privacy and dignity are met.
At UHSussex, diversity is our strength, and we want you to feel included to help us always put the Patient First. Your uniqueness and experiences will be part of our creative and innovative community where everyone is encouraged to succeed. We have a range of Staff Networks to help break down barriers and can offer a buddy to help new members settle in.
We treat our patients and staff with the same compassion and empathy we expect for ourselves. We’re here for them when they need us, and we go above and beyond to meet their needs. This can be seen in our Wellbeing Programme for staff, which is extensive and designed to support you when you need it, because we know that to look after others, we must first look after ourselves.
As a university trust and a leader in healthcare research, we value learning, teaching and training so that we can be the best that we can be. From the moment you start with us and throughout your career, we will help you to grow and develop. We hope that in choosing UHSussex you are choosing a long and fulfilling career where you will be able to see the difference you make and feel valued for all that you do.
We look forward to receiving your application and the start of your journey with UHSussex.
