Role: Senior In-House Counsel - Commercial Lead
Location: London, UK
Our Client, a leading US multi-strategy hedge fund, is looking for an experienced in-house Commercial Lawyer to join their team as it scales in London. Reporting directly into the Group GC, the role will provide specialised legal counsel to the investment teams and senior management.
This is a critical mandate as it will own responsibilities across multiple jurisdictions at a key time in the firm's growth.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Contract negotiations
- IP, Data, Privacy
- Employment negotiations for Partners and PMs
- Drafting bespoke payout arrangements, profit share and spinout agreements.
- Drafting of employment agreements across multiple jurisdictions
- Settlement agreements
- Employee related litigation
- Advise the firm on additional general corporate matters.
- Provide regulatory advice across a range of matters.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8-12+ PQE
- Trained and qualified in a ranked Legal Practice - Employment team experience highly desirable
- Minimum 18 months in-house in Tier 1 financial services organisation (secondments considered)
- Strong academic track record
- Excellent negotiation skills
